There is a difference between psychology and physiology

Physiology is the study of how the human body works. It’s all about what makes it work or rather, what makes us work.

Looking specifically at physiology, you understand the various functions of the body, including metabolic functions, digestion, respiration, blood circulation, movement, as well as muscle and bone structure.

A great example of physiology is looking at different animals as well and comparing their structure to humans to see how certain functions stack up.

Psychology is about the human mind.

A psychologist tries to understand what kind of thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are acquired through experience, and what role they play in behavior.

A psychology student mainly studies the different kinds of data that go into the minds of people, and how those people understand those data.

Psychology students learn about the different schools of psychology. In this chapter, you'll learn about the different approaches students learn to make sense of human behavior.psychology and physiology
